HALLOWEEN
NAME:_______________
DATE________________
A Read the text
In the USA, people celebrate Halloween on 31
October every year. They all wear special clothes: white for witches and white
for ghosts, for example.
In the evening, they go out into the streets
and knock on people’s doors. When the people open the door they shout: “Trick
or treat!” and they give them some sweets, chocolate or apples, that’s the
treat. If they don´t, they put grass and stones through the letterbox, that’s
the trick. People usually give them the treat. Some people make lamps out of
pumpkins and put them on their windows at night.
